Applied Underwriters, Inc., a global risk services company, is seeking to hire an experienced Commercial General Liability Claims Adjuster adept at managing complex coverage, liability, and legal issues within claims.  You will use your strong communication, investigation, and negotiation skills to successfully manage a diverse caseload of commercial general liability claims.  This Adjuster must appreciate the sensitive nature of complex liability claims and have extensive knowledge on policy interpretation and negligence standards. 

The Claims Analyst provides critical information to the Claims Division to ensure it achieves excellence.  The Analyst will gather, organize, and communicate information necessary to ensure compliance with adjusting standards and legal requirements.  In addition, this information will be used to evaluate skills and outcomes.  In this role, the Analyst is a valued partner functioning more as a consultant than an auditor.      

As the Claims EDI Coordinator you will be responsible for all aspects of claims electronic data interchange (EDI) reporting, which includes research, tracking, and data exchange.  You will recommend changes to enhance the EDI functionality within the claims software.  You will also act as the primary point of contact for EDI inquiries from the various state and federal agencies and the adjusting and technical staff. 

The Legal Services Specialist uses their strong organization and communication skills, coupled with the training and tools we provide, to assist the Legal Services Coordinator with the management and maintenance of our network of defense attorneys, as well as review the bills generated by this network of attorneys.  This position also assists with the vendor management process to ensure the law firms and other service providers are aware of our standards and are compliant with our requirements.
