Senior Litigation Counsel

Applied Underwriters is an expanding global insurance company looking to add expertise to its inhouse legal staff.  We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Defense Attorney to work in our Woodland Hills office.

• California State Bar membership.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• At least three years of experience as a Personal Injury Defense Attorney.
• Case management, interviewing witnesses, written discovery, depositions of lay and expert witnesses, defending clients at deposition, mediation and settlement conferences, and communicating with and responding to clients and adjusters.
• Law and motion experience, including discovery and dispositive motions.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Prepared to submit a writing sample.
