Description

The Program Administration Analyst is responsible for the development and quality control of reporting for various insurance programs. This role helps ensure departments such as Accounting and Actuary have accurate and timely information. You will assist with maintaining monthly bordereau data and complete quarterly reports which will be used to monitor the financial activities of programs.  You will also communicate with business and technical personnel on a regular basis to facilitate data analysis projects and troubleshoot errors. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably Business Management, Accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, etc.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel. (Example task: creating complex formulas / text to columns / using an index matches / combining multiple data sets / condition formatting / nested sum it functions / data validation/ etc.)
  • One or more years previous experience in the insurance industry, accounting, or banking & finance industry or other relevant professional experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with particular emphasis on the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Reading and interpreting insurance contracts with the confidence to ask questions.
