Claims Counsel

We are seeking an experienced Claims Counsel to join our legal team to oversee litigation related to claims management.  The primary job functions include providing strategic legal counsel, manage complex insurance-related disputes, and work closely with internal claims teams and external counsel to ensure favorable outcomes for the company.  The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in insurance defense, litigation management, and dispute resolution.

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Nebraska State Bar membership.
• At least five years of experience practicing insurance law, with a focus on insurance defense, coverage issues, and claims-related litigation.
• Thorough understanding of litigation procedures, including discovery, motions practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of insurance law and regulatory frameworks.
