Senior Surety Claims Examiner

Applied Underwriters, Inc., a global risk services company, is seeking to hire an experienced Surety Claims Examiner.  This individual will be a subject matter expert in the handling of a wide variety of surety claims.  You will use your strong communication, investigation, and negotiation skills to successfully manage a diverse caseload of surety claims to resolution.  This Examiner must appreciate the sensitive nature of surety claims and have extensive knowledge of coverage, liability, and contract interpretation along with fluency in bond language, procedures and compliance. 

• Three or more years of experience handling surety claims
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
