Surety Claims Counsel

Applied Underwriters, Inc., a global risk services company, is seeking to hire an experienced Surety Claims Counsel. This individual will be the subject matter expert in the handling of a wide variety of surety claims and will use their strong communication, investigation, and negotiation skills to successfully manage a diverse caseload of surety claims to resolution. In addition, they must appreciate the sensitive nature of surety claims and have extensive knowledge of coverage, liability, and contract interpretation along with fluency in bond procedures and compliance.

• Juris Doctorate 
• 5 or more years of experience managing surety claims
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
