Insurance Accounting Manager

The Insurance Accounting Manager plays a key role in the daily financial operations of the company. They are responsible for reviewing financial statements for multiple insurance companies and ensuring timely submissions to meet all deadlines. The manager leverages their strong attention to detail to oversee all company accounting areas and ensure financial statements are accurate, reasonable, and compliant with NAIC guidelines and Statutory Accounting Principles.

 

Remote candidates must be located in Des Moines, Kansas City, and Sarasota/Tampa area.

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 4 years accounting experience
• Experience with Annual Statements preparation and final review
• Knowledge and experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong Excel skills
