Description

The Director of Events is responsible for planning and executing a wide array of high-profile events ranging from business meetings and intimate dinners to large-scale, multi-day luxury events with hundreds of guests. The ideal candidate has exceptional attention to detail, requires minute-by-minute precision from every component and activity of an event. They will demonstrate both professionalism and innovation, with the ability to work collaboratively to create exceptional experiences that support company objectives, executive efforts, and enhance brand presence.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event, Tourism, and/or Hospitality Management.
  • At least 5 years of extensive corporate and/or luxury hotel/resort/wedding event planning and management experience; at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong management and customer service skills.
  • Travel required; Work nights and weekends during events.
  • Ability to lift boxes up to 30 pounds and stand on feet for an extended period of time.
