Senior Actuarial Reserving Analyst

Applied Underwriters continues to grow in the world of Property and Casualty insurance (personal and commercial), with a diverse portfolio of program business, specifically in the excess and surplus space.  We need experienced staff throughout our Actuarial Department, including reserving, pricing, regulatory compliance, research, data science, etc.  This is a unique opportunity to join an established 29 year old company, currently in an dynamic entrepreneurial stage. 

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative concentration (e.g. actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, physics, economics, etc.)
• Have at least two years reserving in commercial property and casualty insurance
• Familiarity with Statements of Actuarial Opinion and P&C Annual Statements is preferred
• Strong Excel skills and a demonstrated interest in coding/automation. Experience with SQL is preferred.
